Who Is This Qualification For?

Highfield Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering (RQF) course is essential for anyone working in a catering, hospitality or retail setting (or those about to start work in the industry) where food is prepared, cooked and handled. Candidates will be equipped with the practical skills necessary to work safely with food. It is also appropriate for those providing services to catering premises including pest-control operators, maintenance engineers, cleaners, and laundry and delivery personnel.

What Qualification Will I Get?

This qualification is the Highfield Level 2 Award in Food Safety for Catering (RQF) which is accredited by Highfield Qualifications and sits on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) which is regulated by Ofqual and CCEA Regulation.

What Will I Study?

What First Aid Training Do I Need?

Assessment Method

This qualification is assessed by a multiple-choice examination. Learners must complete 20 questions within 45 minutes. Successful learners will have to achieve a pass mark of 60% (12/20).

How Long Will It Take?

To complete this Highfield Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering (RQF) qualification learners should expect to undertake 7 hours of learning, typically over one day, with a minimum contact time of 6 hours.
